Project RESTORE: San Isidro Elementary School

Project Part 1: 28-Nov-14 to 7-Dec-14

Project Part 2: 23-Jan-15 to 26-Jan-15

Bohol, Philippines, an area which suffered greatly during a 7.2 scale earthquake on October 15, 2013 (energy of the quake was equivalent to 32 Hiroshima bombs), has yet to recover from the severe damages left in its wake.

San Isidro Elementary School is one such reminder of the devastation. The school barely holds up with make-shift canvass walls, and missing basic amenities such as lighting, ventilation, and sanitation fixtures.

Engineers Without Borders (Singapore) teamed up with Project Coast2Coast Singapore and Lions Club International (Philippines) for this project, in a bid to bring back a sense of stability and normalcy back into the lives of the school children and dedicated teachers.
